Portraits

There are hundreds of reasons to commission a portrait: to mark an important occasion or event, to commemorate someone special or to show people in a particular setting or role.

How many of us have hundreds if not thousands of photos of friends and family stored in our phones, but we never really get round to looking at them, let alone printing them out and showing them off in their best light? A portrait is a wonderful way to immortalize those you love. It should be timeless and elegant so that it will speak to future generations and reflect the personality of the sitter in a way that a photo cannot. I have trained in traditional techniques, painting from life, but I can work from good quality photos and love the challenge of a portrait commission.

Do get in touch to find out more about the portrait commissioning process.
